Meet the Management Team at Silk Healthcare

Angela Swift, Managing Director & Founder

Angela’s blueprint for her visionary care homes continues to develop and to incorporate innovation and improvements for her residents. She is totally involved in every aspect of the design and construction of the care homes and adopts a very hands-on approach on the building site down to every last fixture and fitting. Silk Healthcare has become a true family business in every sense of the word. Angela’s long-term vision is to operate a small and select group of luxury care homes that specialise in caring for people with varying degrees of memory impairment and ultimately caring for life.

Christine Walters, Director

Christine is responsible for Silk Healthcare’s growth strategy and business generation. Christine has developed and commissioned each of the care homes and has a wealth of experience in delivering high quality services to residents.

Alison Tait, Head of Operations

Alison assumes responsibility for operations, quality and compliance as well as supporting the owners and directors with future business growth plans. She overseas management appointments that add long term value to the organisation. Alison’s vision is to continue to lead and develop people so enabling them to provide the best possible standards of care and quality of life for residents at Silk healthcare.

Michelle Rhodes, Quality Support Manager

Michelle Rhodes is qualified nurse and trainer and is responsible for Quality and Compliance at Silk Healthcare, this includes ensuring compliance standards outlined by CQC, CCG and local authority are met and maintained, and she is the designated safeguarding lead for the organisation. Michelle also supports the home managers in all areas of operational management and visits the Silk Healthcare homes regularly.

Gary Kettlewell, Financial Controller

Gary’s role is to manage the delivery of fully compliant financial processes and ensuring smooth running of the Silk Healthcare Accounts Department.
