Management and Governance
Adrian Bagg, Chief Executive, Methodist Homes (MHA)
Previously Chief Executive of Papworth Trust, the leading disability charity, Adrian led the organisation to work with more disabled people every year. He trebled contracted and fundraised income, significantly grew volunteering, and developed the charity’s policy work.
Before joining the charitable sector, Adrian worked as a Director in the private sector for several global, complex organisations including Diageo, P&O and Amersham. During this time, he was involved in several mergers and acquisitions and built a track record of helping organisations to use better processes and technology to serve their customers’ needs.
He is a Lay Preacher and Trustee of the Children’s Society.
Carol Artis, Operations Director – Care Homes
Carol entered the healthcare sector 14 years ago as the financial controller of a small group of nursing homes before moving to an operational position. This company changed hands and Carol was appointed to the position of Director for the Elderly Care Homes for four years, until she was appointed Director of Care Homes with the responsibility of three hundred registered care homes across the UK.
Jasbir Singh, Regional Operations Director – Care Homes
After starting in retail management, Jas moved into the healthcare sector in 1997 where he held Manager positions at several Homes in the West Midlands. He joined MHA in 2007 as a Home Manager and was appointed Area Manager in 2008 – these positions have seen him work with more than 70 Homes across the UK. He was appointed to his current role in September 2016.
